Activity Centre
What do we do?
Kentmere Residential centre is managed by the service and provides a unique residential experience for the borough’s children and young people. The centre is split over 2 buildings and caters for groups of 20 and 10 respectively. Both buildings are self-catering and a range of activities can be delivered in the area by the Positive Activities Team. Private groups can also book the centre for get togethers and holidays.

Matt Johnston
My name is Matt and I’m the Positive Activities Lead for YPS. I support the TYS workers by delivering outdoor and adventurous activities, I also manage the Duke of Edinburgh Award and run bespoke activities for outside agencies. I started over 20 years ago as a DofE Expedition Leader and Store keeper. In my spare time I like to walk and ride my mountain bike, I can also be found taking holidays all around the UK in my self-built campervan.
